Yoga

Yoga is an integral part of our lifestyle. It removes the impurities from the level of the mind and unites everything with the spirit. For instance, insomnia could be connected to stress, anxiety, or depression. You have to address that issue instead of merely taking medication. This way, you have a wider perception of your mind, body, thoughts, and emotions and there’s more clarity and you can guide your prana (life force) in a positive way to progress in life.

While yoga does not guarantee conception, it can improve your fertility rate and chances of conceiving. Yoga poses or asanas help develop a hospitable body and calm mind, thus preparing you for childbirth. When you get bogged down with infertility issues, yoga boosts your spirits and encourages a positive outlook.

Yoga asanas have several benefits for general overall health. However, for issues relating to fertility, yoga can help in the following ways:

  • Yoga stimulates the ovaries and uterus
  • Strengthens and stretches the back muscles
  • Purifies the energy channels, flushing out toxins from the body
  • Makes the groin and hips flexible
  • Stretches the neck muscles and makes the spine more flexible
  • Improves blood flow and supply to reproductive organs
  • Relieves back and leg ache
  • Relieves stress and anxiety
  • Reduces tension, mood swings, and depression
  • Enables smooth delivery

At IHR, you can also practice Prenatal Yoga that is tailor-made for expecting mothers. It helps keep the body fit and active which in turns helps to keep the baby healthy as well. It also helps to strengthen women’s uterine muscles and support the spine, enabling the back to cope with additional pressure. Pregnancy may be one of the happiest phases in a woman’s life, but there is no denying the fact that the stress and strains it puts a woman’s body through are immense. Most women struggle with common day-to-day activities after giving birth as the body is still recovering from the rigours of pregnancy and labour. One can practice Postnatal Yoga here that is extremely beneficial and can help recover from the effects of childbirth smoothly.
